Recitals
A recital is an event that is typically organized and conducted by a music teacher. Recitals are designed to give music students an opportunity to perform music arrangements for an invited audience (usually consisting of parents, siblings and close friends). A recital can be held at a local music store, in the teacher's home, at the home of a student or at a local facility such as a church, school or library.
Of course, all teachers are free to conduct recitals as they wish, however IAMF encourages music teachers to conduct recitals that persuade students to play in small groups whenever possible.
